Their political satire is as sharp as ever: "House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said yesterday that Republicans have done so well in cutting spending that he declared an "ongoing victory," and said there is simply no fat left to cut in the federal budget. Hard to believe they even put this to press.
Delay's statement on the Fed Hwys bill says it all... "important infrastructure"... and eliminating them [pork-filled pet projects] would "undermine the economy"!?!
