Would this be necessary to ensure the long-term safety of Israel? Or will it be perceived, not unlike our invasion of Iraq, as wacking the bee's nest filled with radical fundamental Islamic 'holy warriors'? Seriously... hard to calculate the cost/benefit of this one.
