Rockefeller, D-W.Va, have asked the chairmen of their respective intelligence committees to investigate the legal authorities used by the CIA to carry out interrogations and secret renditions, The Washington Post reported Tuesday. A congressional aide has said that Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Pat Roberts, R-Kan., does not believe that any such investigation is warranted. The CIA inspector general's office is currently conducting its own investigation into the same issue. "
